About Maggie Verster
Maggie Verster is an educational technologist and a Senior Consultant at Commonwealth of Learning. She is passionate about web 2.0 and social media activist for teaching and learning. She has actually found out that educators need to incorporate the social media tools into their teaching strategies so that they may effectively engage a new generation of learners. She also uses ICT and involved in ICT training initiatives for teaching and learning and gives training, conduct sessions, assist teachers to effectively use ICT and develop materials for schools and organizations.

About Dr. Nellie Deutsch
Nellie holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in educational leadership specializing in curriculum & instruction and is an E-Learning Professional Development Specialist.

She is the founder of Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning (IT4ALL), an online informal network of volunteers that provides free and low-cost professional development workshops for educators around the world. The hands-on workshops help teachers learn to integrate technology into blended and fully online classes for private and public courses.

Dr. Deutsch earned her doctorate in education and educational leadership with a specialization in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix from the School of Advanced Studies. Her dissertation research was published on Amazon) focused on instructor experiences with integrating technology in blended learning contexts in higher education around the world. Dr. Deutsch is internationally known as a transformative leader, community builder, an expert in educational technology, leader in providing online professional development courses, and mentor for educators worldwide.

Dr. Deutsch is the founder of Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning (IT4ALL), an online informal network that provides free professional development workshops for educators around the world. Dr. Deutsch is also founder and current coordinator of the annual Connecting Online (CO09-CO13) for Instruction and Learning and Moodlemoot (MMVC11- MMVC13) free online conferences. She also provides course design and online facilitation on Moodle for Teacher (M4T) courses for teachers and administrators at Atlantic University, COL, and other organizations around the world.
